NOTICE

Mosaic/Annual Day/IRIS

In view of the proposed Bharat bundh, on 20th & 21st February 2013, the following arrangement is being made to celebrate college festivals Mosaic/IRIS/Annual Day.

22nd February

9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.           MOSAIC (Inauguration at 9.00 a.m.)

5.45 p.m.                                COLLEGE ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION

23nd & 24th February            IRIS (non-instructional days)

 

Note : Arrangement for 22nd Annual Day.

 

1. Members of the staff connected with conduct of Mosaic/Annual Day function, will report at 9.00 a.m. and may leave the College by 12.30 p.m., so as to enable them to be back for the Annual Day celebration, by 4.30 p.m.

2. Others shall report to the college by 3.00 p.m. and assist in the organizational matters of the Annual Day function.

MOSAIC is the annual technical festival of St. Francis Institute of Technology. This year we are celebrating our 8th technical festival. MOSAIC is a festival that attracts crowds from colleges across Mumbai. Students from all disciplines come forward to showcase their technical skills. MOSAIC has various technical events such as Technical Paper Presentation, Java Programming, C/C++ programming, Google Whacking etc. It also hosts many other events such as Robotics, LAN Gaming (CS, DOTA, NFS & FIFA) and other informal events.

This year celebrated our 8th annual technical festival, MOSAIC '11 on the 7th and 8th of October, 2011.

MOSAIC 11: Students of SFIT exhibit their skills in robotics and technology. The same is published in the University of Mumbai Newsletter - "Vidyavarta" - October - December 2011.
