Candidates whose names appear in the Final Merit List are hereby informed that admission will be done strictly based on merit by Counselling on Tuesday , 9th July, 2013 at 9.30 a.m.

Candidates are advised that they, along with their parent/guardian be present at the time of counselling.  Failure to be present will entail loss of candidature and admission will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list. Candidates should bring the following documents in original at the time of counseling:

1. Mark sheet of the qualifying diploma examination.(All semesters)
2. Mark sheet of S. S. C. exam and H.S.C. exam, where applicable.
3. S.S.C. Passing Certificate and H.S.C. Passing Certificate, where applicable.
5. Leaving Certificate (LC) from the institute last attended.
6. Proof of Minority Status (In case of candidates whose L.C. does not mention ‘Roman Catholic’ against the Religion Column)
  a. Letter from Parish Priest in original
  b. Affidavit and
  c. Baptism Certificate   
  • Blank Cheque book to pay the fees


Candidates who have already secured admission elsewhere should produce admission letter from the Institute in which admission is secured, stating that the candidate is admitted in the said institution and that the originals of the aforesaid documents are retained by the Institute.  Such candidates should produce attested copies of documents mentioned above.                                                                

Candidates who are offered admission must confirm their admission on the spot by paying the requisite fee of Rs.77,333/-*(Tuition + University fee) by cheque in favour of “St. Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai.”  They must also deposit the original documents at S. No 1 to 6 simultaneously or produce admission letter from the Institute where admitted and attested copies of documents mentioned above.  However, such candidates will have to produce all original documents within four working days of admission.  Failure to pay the fees immediately on the offer of admission will entail loss of admission. 

*The fee mentioned above is an ‘Interim Fee’ fixed by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti (SSS) and as per its directive, the college/institute undertakes that if the ‘Final Fee’ approved by the Samiti is less than the Interim Fee collected, the difference shall be refunded within four weeks.  Similarly, students admitted in the academic year 2013-14, will deem to have given an undertaking to the College/Institute to pay the difference in the fee in case the Final Fee is more than the Interim Fee, within the stipulated time period as may be notified by the Institute.
