Under the banner of ISTE, one week and two-week short term training programs (STTP) are a regular feature of SFIT.
Since the year 2001, St. Francis Institute of Technology has been regularly organizing a 2-week Faculty Induction Program (FIP) for the newly appointed teachers in our institute and institutes in and around Mumbai. This effort has been widely acknowledged.
Various others are conducted under the respective departments. The topics chosen are such that they give exposure to the latest and upcoming technologies in various areas of engineering. Resource persons and experts are invited from premier institutions and industry to give a holistic view of the topic. Hands on experience and industrial visits are an integral part of such STTPs.

These courses aid in career advancement of the faculty members. The staff is encouraged to attend such courses organized elsewhere. |
