Sports have been an integral part of SFIT right from its inception. SFIT students have always been enthusiastic about games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Throwball, badminton etc with Football being the forte of the students. SFIT also houses a gymkhana which boasts of Table Tennis rooms, Carrom rooms and for Chess too.
Annual Sports (Inter and Intra college) meet is held with the annual cultural festival of SFIT i.e. IRIS. SFIT students have gone great guns in achieving honors at inter- collegiate level in fields of Football and Cricket.
Star of SFIT is a student Miss Arantxa Sanctis who plays Billiards at the State as well as National level.
