NOTICE

Direct Admission to Second Year 2007 – 08 of Minority Quota

 

Candidates whose names appear in Final Merit List are hereby informed that admission will be done strictly on merit by Counselling as per the following Schedule.

Schedule of Counselling and Admission

31st July 2007

Tuesday, 02.00 P.M.

 

Candidates are advised that they, along with their parent/guardian be present at the time of counseling.  Failure to be present at the time of counseling will entail loss of candidature and admission will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.  Candidates should bring the following documents in original at the time of counseling:

  1. Mark sheet of the qualifying diploma examination on the basis of which first class is awarded
  2. Mark sheet of S. S. C. exam and H.S.C. exam, if relevant
  3. S.S.C. Passing Certificate and H.S.C. Passing Certificate, if relevant
  4. Provisional Eligibility Certificate from University
  5. Leaving Certificate from the institute last attended and
  6. Proof of Minority Status (In case of candidates whose L.C. does not mention as Roman Catholic against the Religion Column)
    1. Letter from Bishop in original
    2. Affidavit and
    3. Baptism Certificate

 

 

 

Candidates who have already secured admission elsewhere should produce admission letter from the admission centre or a certificate from the Head of the Institute in which admission is secured, stating that the candidate secured admission in the said institution and that the originals of the aforesaid documents at S. No (1) to (6) were retained by the Institute.  Such candidates should produce attested copies of documents at S. No (1) to (6) duly attested by the Head of the institution last attended / institute where admission is secured.

 

Candidates who are offered admission must confirm their admission on the spot by paying the requisite fees. - Rs. 43,587/-*(Tuition + University fee) by demand draft drawn in favour of St. Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai.  They must also deposit the original documents at S. No 1 to 6 simultaneously or produce admission letter / letter from Head of Institute where admitted and attested copies of documents as explained aforesaid.   However, such candidates will have to produce original documents within four days of admission.  Failure to pay the fees immediately on the spot on the offer of admission will entail loss of admission. 

 

*The above is an interim fee and as per the directive from the SSS the students as well as the Institute will offer an undertaking to each other to make good the increase or decrease in the fees ultimately to be fixed by the Samiti.

 

Classes for S.E. will commence from 1st August 2007.
