St. Francis Institute of Technology has a full time qualified counselor, Ms. Beatrice Lobo.

The prime responsibility is to provide the right guidance, career counseling and support. The counselor also addresses several academic related issues and personal problems which involve aiding students with family problems, stress, anxiety, coping with separation and new relationships. The counselor also assists with enhancements in  program concentration and study skills to further develop the all round abilities of a student

The counselor has started a social service club, “Angel’s Club” which includes student members who conduct blood donation drives, social awareness programs and CRY workshops. It also arranges for visits to institutions like Cancer patients Association and Shantidaan to enhance sensitivity in students towards social issues. The team also collects old newspapers and old clothes and visits Premsangh which is a home for street children.

The club looks forward to making a lasting difference in the community by using te time and skills of staff and students.
